Photos of Lucie

The LUCIE

The Lucie, which is awarded as a symbol of elite and unique photographic talent, was influenced by two photographers, Frantisek Drtikol and E. O. Hoppe. Its form was inspired by the synthesis of two famous photographic images from the first half of the twentieth century. Taken from the Latin word "lux", meaning "light", the Lucie is a tribute to the influence of and the role light plays in photography.
