COMPETITION

Get your camera ready!
The deadline for the annual International Photography Awards Competition is fast approaching. Winning images will be featured in the full color Awards Book displayed at prestigious galleries internationally. Over $10,000 in cash and additional prizes will be awarded.

Entries must be received no later than September 30, 2003. Amateur and professional photographers alike are invited to submit a single image or series in: print (black and white or color); slide/transparency; or digital file.

PRIZES

Grand Prize: International Photographer of the Year title and $10,000 cash will be awarded to the photographer with the best overall photograph.

Category Prizes: Prizes from our sponsors will be awarded to a professional and an amateur winner in each of the following categories: Photojournalism; Advertising; People; Architecture; Nature; Special; and Fine Art.

New Discovery Award: Judges will evaluate the work of the amateur winners to determine the best newcomer to photography.

Certificate of Excellence: Certificates will be awarded in 54 categories to both professionals and amateurs.

The winning photographs will be featured as part of the Winners collection in the Awards Book and on the IPA web site at www.photoawards.com.
